Dr. Steven Vicinanza, CEO

Dr. Steven Vicinanza is Cirrity’s Co-Founder and CEO. Steve has over 30 years of experience in building, managing and delivering IT services to enterprise customers. Steve is responsible for driving the company’s business innovation and strategy. An experienced and accomplished entrepreneur, Steve founded and built one of the Industry’s largest managed services providers prior to launching Cirrity.

Steve holds a doctorate in management information systems from the highly ranked Carnegie Mellon School of Management. Selected by Catalyst Magazine as one of Atlanta’s top 25 entrepreneurs, he is a frequent contributor to trade and academic publications, an invited speaker at industry conferences and has appeared as an IT industry expert on CNN.

Dan Timko, President, Chief Technology Officer

Dan Timko is Cirrity’s President and Chief Technology Officer. Dan brings more than 15 years of information technology and information security industry experience to Cirrity and is focused on designing, creating and maintaining a resilient cloud environment for customers and partners with high security and regulatory compliance requirements.

Dan received both his B.S. in Computer Science and Masters in Information Security from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Professional certifications include CISSP, CCSK, VCP, CCNP Security and MCSE. Dan is a member of the Cloud Security Alliance, Information Systems Security Association and InfraGard. He is also on the Service Provider Advisory Boards for both VMware and Cisco.

Gerald J. Baron, Chief Marketing Officer

Gerry Baron is Cirrity’s Chief Marketing Officer. Gerry brings over 25 years of global sales and marketing leadership experience leading direct and indirect sales channels to Cirrity, and is responsible for the company’s “go-to-market” activities including partnerships, strategic sales, marketing, sales operations and business and corporate development. Prior to joining Cirrity, Gerry held senior executive positions at information security, communications and high volume/high availability transaction processing companies serving the retail, financial services, healthcare, travel, oil and gas, and defense industries including Rockwell Collins, S1 Corporation, Magnet Communications and S2 Systems.

Gerry received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his M.B.A. in General Management from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School (GBS).  He is a member of the TAG Information Security Society Board.  Gerry also volunteers as a mentor for MIT and GBS students, serves as an MIT Educational Counselor (candidate interviewer), and actively mentors Boy Scouts as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor.
